My school holidays and something extra.....

It was the last week of Term 3 and I was completely nervous. Monday came and passed by, then came Tuesday, followed by Wednesday, Thursday, and then finally, Friday. There were two reasons to why I was nervous. First of all, I wasn't really looking forward to the holidays and second of all, I wasn't sure how I was going to face TWO WHOLE WEEKS without seeing any of my friends or teachers. The thought made me shudder. Once again, the holidays had arrived...

Sorry if I made that sound slightly creepy but that was what I thought back then. Anyway, on with the story. The first week of the holidays had started and the first thing I did was.... I woke up at five (I don't care if you think I'm mad). After doing my personal stuff, I sat on my bed trying to think of what to do next. I decided to go on the laptop and check on my email. There was nothing much really. Claire was going skiing which sounded exciting. I signed out and then thought of what to do next. It was hard thinking of what to do on the laptop when you don't really have any work to do. I was school sick already. I soon got off the laptop and decided to read. In Term 3, I had read the first book of the Twilight series. I started reading the second one (New Moon). The starting was good but after about six chapters, I got slightly bored. Next I started to sketch. I drew a really cute, realistic owl (again) and I took about an hour on that. It turned out pretty good.

So my first Monday of the holidays was pretty much a stay-at-home day. Well I was used to staying at home anyway so its all good. I hope I haven't bored you. Well since I just wrote about my slightly boring holidays, I've decided to write about my first day back. How about that? I'll try to keep it brief and short.

Well the day before the first day of school, I was really, really, really excited. On the first day of school I was really, really, really nervous. Why? Well there are a lot of reasons to that. First of all, Term 4 means lots of tests. Second of all, I was worried about how I was going to cope with all the learning that we usually do in Term 4. The last reason was that our.... never mind. Yeah. When I got to school I was pretty much freaking out. Every time someone entered the door to Room 11, I jumped. The butterflies in my stomach were working full time now. I also noticed that our desks had changed. When I found mine, I was petrified at the state of my desk. It was messy. MESSY?! I cleaned it on the last day of school! Then suddenly the desk swap was bad news for me because if my desk WAS really messy, then whoever had changed the desks must have seen mine. And that was bad. I also noticed that the teacher's desk had changed. It was unusually....clean.

The day went on and on. After our early lunch, we got ready to go to tech. Apparently Mr Cunningham wasn't taking us to tech :-(. But we did finish off our wooden spoons that we were making in woodworks! Mine looked ok. I guess.

Well that was my holidays and my the first day of school.
