Book group experience

The first thing I want to say about the book groups is that...well I was getting more confident about sharing my ideas with other people and telling them about how I felt about the book. Here is a brief explaination of how it all started.....
I got put into the group Running Wild. Running Wild is a book by Michael Morpurgo, the author who also wrote many other amazing books like Born to Run. If I could only use one word to describe this book that word would be adventurous. It is about this 9 or 10 yr old boy named Will who's father dies in war. Then Will and his mother take a trip to Indonesia so they can take have a break and forget all their horrible memories. But a tsunami strikes which kills millions of people including Will's mom but Will survives and gets stck in a forest withan elephant named Oona.
The things that went well in our book group was that everyone had lots of questions to ask and they were all able to give answers. I forgot to mention that we had five people in our group.
Not all things went well though. The groups who had good discussions and was on topic got to unlock crackers. When you unlock crackers you get to bring some food to share with your group during the next session. Unfortunatly we didn't unlock our first crackers untill the third to last session because of a very tragic accident (I don't want to mention it ever again because it was very embarrasing).
So thats it guys. I hope you've enjoyed this post. Cya!!!
